Hi Everyone,
Once again we are behind the times, too much to do, too little time. Who said when we retire we will have all the time in the world! We have spent the last few days in Whitehorse, the capitol of the Yukon where some 20,000 plus people live; the entire province of the Yukon only has 30,000 plus people in an area larger than Texas.
I am going to take you back to our days at Muncho Lake Provincial Park on the 30th of June to July 1st, the lake is a clear aqua color, due to the pediment of copper oxide in the water and is surrounded by mountains, the days we were there were cloudy and rainy, but all the more beautiful.
Enjoy the photos, we enjoyed being there.

We stayed in a small provicial campground, beautiful lake side view.

The campsite was truly in a gorgeous setting.

Someone started this beautiful cairn and we added our rock to it, cairn are pretty prevelant in Canada.

Various views of the Lake and it's flora and fauna.

Last but not least, our selves posed in front of the beautiful Muncho Lake.

Gorgeous...simply gorgeous. I love the photos, and the scenergy looks so amazing. Mountains. An awesome lake with the unreal aqua color. The campsite is perfect. However, i can see that it is pretty cooool there. You both look like you're layered up to keep warm. Today is actually warm here in Little Marais=80 degrees. Very breezy, so there's plenty of air circulating to keep us cool. Marsh & Hazel and animals stopped in for a brief few minutes to say "hello" as they were on their way back to Grand Marais after seeing the grandgirls and having an open house at their place in Golden Valley. The PokerGirls got to see the beautiful little girls + meet Katie. I wish I could have been there, but I've been quite happy here at home in Little Marais. I am surprised that I simply love this life on Lake Superior...and I really don't miss city life at all! Go figure...I guess I'm where I belong. The studios are getting organized and beckoning us to come and make art! I start my art workshop with Haz next Mon/July 13th. I am very excited!! Missing you two, but love seeing you having such a wonderful time. Love & Peace, Joyce-at-home-in-Little-Marais
ReplyDeleteThat looks so beautiful! I would like to go there someday!
ReplyDeleteHi Sandy and Mo-Man, I'm at your home in St. Paul (in case you've forgotten where it is) and I'm driving your car. How do you open the trunk??! I will drive it to Little Marais tomorrow. It seems fine. Dave's Ribs at Laurie's tonight for PokerGirls. I'll win one for you! Love & Peace, TDB/Joyce
ReplyDeleteKitties seem fine and happy. Elizabeth is doing an excellent job, and they seem content. House looks good. Love, JY
ReplyDeleteHi Joyce,
ReplyDeleteThanks for checking on the kitties and taking the car. The key will not open the trunk anymore, you just have to open it from the inside trigger next to the gas tank opener. Hope you find it, I'll call you tomorrow to see if you got it open.
